how to replace throttle position sensor
Hi All. I have a new TPS to install, but I'm not sure if it's as simple as unbolting the old and bolting on the new. i say that because the holes on the TPS allow for some adjustment, which I'm guessing can impact how the TPS performs.
Am I wrong? Is it really that simple? Unbolt the old and bolt the new one on any old way I'd like? Or do I need to take some measurements with a multimeter and find the sweet spot before bolting it into place?
thanks much in advance!

I would definetly consult a service manual for this. usually there is some sort of voltage/adjustment range to install properly. But you can always try to just bolt her on and see how it runs as close to the stock setting as possible.

Hey rkw77080, saw your post last night on my phone. Didn't get a chance to respond at the time, but looked like that was exactly what I was looking for. but now I'm not seeing the post here. Was it deleted?
