Help! Electrical Problems! - VSC, Nav, steering wheel, trunk
A few weeks ago, my DVD nav stopped being able to read the nav DVD.
Yesterday, I got back in there and tried playing around with some of the plugs. Now... bad electrical issues. Here are the symptoms:
1. VSC light is on
2. Steeringwheel auto-lift, lower when placing key in ignition does not work.
3. Trunk will not pop with keyfob (but car makes beep noise), but doors will unlock.
4. Cannot pop trunk or fuel door with car off.
5. DVD Nav screen blank.
Here is where is also gets strange:
#2. Steering wheel electric tilt will work once the car is cranked.
#3/4. Trunk and fuel door will open once the car is cranked.
#5. A/C control and Audio control will still show up on the nav screen when selected. No audio problems. The screen only starts blank with no disclaimer, attempt to read nav dvd, etc.
Does anybody have any ideas what the problem could be or any remedies? Does anybody know what circuits these things share? Could I have fried a fuse or relay? Maybe I left something unplugged that I just can't see?
Please help! Any ideas would really be appreciated.
