Default 16 piece led interior swap with pics

***** update in post #8 ***** I ordered and paid for the 16 piece set but after reviewing the photo with them laid out and back tracking the placement of each I received 22 pieces.

Picked up this set on Amazon for $22 shipped. No fitment issues and all of the covers are secured as originally. When I thought I was done there were 3 lights still left. I put the 2 wedge bulbs up front in the headlights. The last remaining appears to be for the 3rd brake light but I called it a night and I'll check it later.

I would absolutely buy this same set again without hesitation. The dome and rear vanity covers had a second plastic layer which I removed prior to re-installing. I also wiped down each cover prior to placing them back on. Pretty simple mod overall. The driver light wedge was harder but only because I didn't think about different access points prior to moving stuff. After about 10 minutes of trying to access it from behind the housing I realized there is a cover in the front inner side of each headlight. Removed that it is accessed in about 10 seconds. My LS came with leds already in the license plate area and I confirmed these are the same bulbs there. Previous owner must have had a similar kit and took the others because my mirror puddle lights are also led. Enjoy the pics we all love pictures here ^_^

I don't have the link but it's super easy to find... I'm just trying to load more pics from my phone and its all jacked up lol.

Amazon and search ls430 led... u will see several but one states 16 pieces for $22 it's that one.

Pics are crap because I didn't realize I had my camera on panoramic until the last couple shots.

Also consider buying a nylon pry tool set while you are at it. The set I have in the pics was like $8 and it worked perfectly for taking the covers off but also putting them back on without any damage to the covers or car.

Awesome, thanks for the good write up. Probably doing this next on mine and I saw some of those kits on Amazon and eBay and was curious if they were any good for that price.

Yeah I've seen these kits for years and thought they'd all be crap because the cost is so cheap for the amount of lights. The seller only had 2 reviews on these as well so I just rolled the dice on them. They aren't blinding bright to the point of being annoying and certainly crisp enough to notice a difference.

Thanks for adding the link Toan that is the exact kit and seller that I went with.

Hey... I just counted the lights on my first pic which I took after putting 3 lights in which is why there are the 3 old bulbs there... I ordered the 16 piece but after counting I actually got 22 pieces???? Sorry I didn't catch that prior to the member that ordered just now. Hopefully you get the same and they are just shipping 22 pieces.

I had:
2 trunk lights wedge
4 bottom door wedge
2 rear top lights by the hand grip round base
6 rear vanity capsules
2 visor capsules
2 map round base
1 dome square

This is when I thought I was done and had 3 more left...

2 driving lights (wedge) in headlight or could have gone to the license plate area.
1 square which I narrowed down to the 3rd brake light.

Yes it is... I bought that exact kit. 16 pieces $22.99 from that seller. It wasn't until my last post that I realized I received more than what I ordered.

Reading the seller description I received the following 6 pieces as extra:

2 rear top bulbs by the handle
2 square pieces center dome and 3rd brake
2 extra wedge bulbs went into the headlights but could have gone to the license plate.

Really wish I would have counted prior to install and posting so others don't get wrong info. Again I paid for and ordered the 16 pieces which I was 100% okay with based on the listed description, however, I received more at 22 pieces.

To the member that ordered a set based on my post... I will mail you my extra square piece that I have not installed yet so your dome setup is complete. Please let me know when you receive it and confirm with me via pm if you truly need it or not... trust fall...

Here is a screen shot of my order

The seat protectors are a must for anyone with kids. Our oldest got her Recaro seat yesterday now we are just waiting for our little one's Recaro to show up. This Recaro booster seat is well worth the money. Locking hooks at the base and a super padded seat bottom... glad we got this one and she loves it!
