Should I? 2005 LS430 with 115k
My local Lexus dealer has a 05 Ls 430 for sale. They are asking $13,390. It was bought at this dealer ship and serviced at this dealership all its life. It has a fewscrapes and a a ding or two on the rear bumper It has the following package:
MODERN LUXURY PKG: front climate controlled seats, heated rear seats, intuitive parking-assist, navigation system w/rear camera & Bluetooth, 240-watt Mark Levinson audio system w/(11) speakers, 4-spoke wood & leather-trimmed steering wheel w/voice command, SMARTACCESS, P245/45WR18 ALL-SEASON TIRES. Serviced here, Non-Smoker vehicle, Originally bought here
http://www.lexusofdayton.com/Vehicle...-OH/2661636633
Since it is a 1 owner car and has the all recommended services done on time is it worth it? What should I offer?
Any help would be appreciated.

I was on the hunt for a LS430 for over 3 years... I can tell you from my own research that it's rare to find this car being sold from the same dealership that first sold it and on top of that serviced it the entire time. Then it's one owner as well... man get it. Taxes and registration stand firm at 13k out the door and it's yours. The other advice I have is don't take your time rolling this around because it will sell before you make your mind up. If you want it go get it.

Just buy it. Don't lose the car over a $500 to $1000 difference. These cars, particularly those with reasonable mileage and good stories like this one are increasingly difficult to find. Also, since it was sold and serviced from your local dealer it was probably traded in there as well. Many of those on this forum have had to incur travel or shipping expense getting their cars home.
It is not often that everything aligns to make this a good deal for you, take advantage of it. That said, make sure the timing belt has been done.

I bought it for 12,500. Traded in my Acadia and couldn't be happier. Lexus of Dayton was great to deal with. They where even better to my kids supplying them with drinks, things to do.
Anyway it was actually purchased in Kentucky at one of my customers Lexus stores ( I thought is was purchased at Lexus of Dayton). Service records at Lexus of cool springs or Lexus of Dayton its entire life. It has some scratches and a ding or two. But overall a very clean car.
It can with all of the owners manuals, 3 keys, and the wallet key. The full size spare is in great shape and the tool kit looks as if it has never been used. It even has the weak lock key in a leather looking pouch. Lol
The only think it needs is a passenger front door lock actuator. Which I worked in as a we owe.
If I could post pics from my phone I would
So happy

welcome, you got a good one. mine only came with a valet key...those extras are worth a fortune, so jealous. lots of good info here on this site. if lexus was the service you should check the transmission fluid as some dealers believe it is lifetime and it will shift better when it is fresher. I did 2 drain and fills at my dealer, but they tried to talk me out of it.

I am looking at 2003 with 74k miles, Mint inside/out condition, mechanically 100% sound, timing belt has not been done yet, they want 12,900 out the door- Good deal? or should I be working on the price?

Tough to say since you have not made the jump from wanting an opinion to actually giving enough information such as package, etc on which said opinion could be based on. In all honesty, it sounds like a good deal. Look for rust underneath if it's lived up north all it's life and buy it if you like it!

Takiman- Apologize, I wasn't sure of the exact package but it had Navigation, Air cooled seats, stock chrome rims, and ml sound system. The price before tax etc, was 11,700$ and would of been paying cash for it.
Thanks again for the advice

Look... all bs aside... if you are looking at a 2004 to 2006 ls430 and it's got a clean title with some frame of reference towards some kind of service history so you know where to kind of pickup from... $16kminus at 120kminus mileage is worth diggin deeper. 18k for low mileage clean title down to 10,500 high mileage clean title and all in between are relevant and worth considering depending on a lot of other stuff.
Truthfully if you really come across a solid clean maintenance variable LS430 low mileage option... even 20k is worth considering provided it's all its said it is and worth it to you.
3+ years on the hunt and I'm just gonna say you should only question a 2004-2006 clean title typical mileage if it's under 9k... that's questionable for sure. Big gap from low to high but so is the info being provided by the possible buyers.
The LS 2004-2006 imo is the best vehicle/value and Era for lexus period... even up to today's production. You have to really understand the depth of this vehicle to appreciate it's value with cost being secondary.

I bought my 01 Base around 3 ½ years ago in a similar situation… The car was a lifetime Colorado car. Small body issues with a pretty solid interior with 122,000 miles on it. Every service had been completed at a local Lexus dealer, I bought it through a Ford Dealer. By happenstance I took the soon to be mine LS to the same dealer to have the pre-buy inspection done. The Service Rep immediately recognized the car and was confused as to why I was driving it.
As I said, that was 3 ½ years and over 100,000 miles ago… Outside of routine maintenance, the only issue that I have had in that 100,000 miles is a coil pack went bad… If mine was ready to die I might race you to this one. I didn't look to deep if the 05 has air suspension, I do not, so no experience there.
