Sport Height PWR buttons - not illuminating
Sport Height PWR buttons - not illuminating:
Can anyone advise me on what might be the quickest way to fix this? I spoke to an independent garage who advised that I would need to buy new buttons?
Thanks.

Each one is illuminated by its own little bulb, a T4 neowedge style bulb. These are generally not sold in auto parts stores, but the dealer can get them and there are several online retailers that sell them.

I've seen US online stores selling them at reasonable prices.
A dealer here in Zurich - Switzerland quoted me 32$ for each bulb and that I'd have to wait for them to get shipped from the factory in Japan...
And I had to spend the better half of an hour trying to convince them that I don't need to buy a console or the buttons, but the bulbs are actually replaceable...

The bulbs are easily replaceable. They come with a green sheath/cap over the bulb to color the light emitted. Dealer charges about $3 - $4. I have 2 in stock - part #s: 90010-03043 & 90010-01070.
Carefully pry on the sides of the dash piece of those switches with nylon tool or tape a screwdriver to prevent damage. The dash piece has snap fasteners on each side, and pops out allowing access to the bulbs behind. The bulbs screw in easily.

Many thanks all.
Are you sure about those part number's Tom? States in this thread that the bulb part number is:
90010-01059
for the Sport/High/PWR?
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...l-buttons.html
Spoke to local (UK) dealer, they want about £7 a bulb!
Thanks again everyone.

Only the lowest panel with the heated seat switches can be pried out. Pushing in the coin drawer exposes the top edge of the lowest panel, which allows you to get a finger or two on the edge enough to pull the panel out. Then you'll see two screws at the bottom of your suspension switch panel. Remove these two screws first and then the panel easily pulls out. Disconnect the switches and (you might have to also remove them from the panel) and then you can easily replace the bulbs in each switch.

Thanks - i've had all of these panels out a few times as I had to remove the multi function display (with relative ease with interior tools), - i've never messed around with these little buttons however, but from what you're all saying - seems straight forward - cheers

Does it strike you as strange that all three in the same panel have failed? My initial thought is that the problem might not be the bulbs because of this reason?
