I changed my battery on my 430 yesterday and now out of nowhere in have the vsc off light. I hooked up my scanner and said zero point calibration.. is this normal

Was the steering wheel not sitting straight when you removed the battery?


I am not sure if that should make a difference. But zero point calibration has to do with steering wheel angle and how the computer reads it according to the saved parameters.

I believe there is a procedure to re-calibrate these parameters, hope that solves your issue.

Was the car sitting level also? If it was on an incline that might have something to do with it.

My steering wheel was turned and car was on a slope. If I disconnected the battery again and did it on a level surface will it go off

So leave it disconnected for about 30min and should be good
