DRL Lightbulb

FWIW, I think the easiest option it just have the DRL option shut off with the TechStream.
If you then want the "look" of a white head light on during the day, simply flip your headlights on manually.
That way you don't lose your high beams with something like an LED bulb conversion that just becomes a cosmetic light.
I definitely think the "yellow" daytime running light look really dates the car, so just getting it shut off was a huge improvement.

I was going to have my DRLs shut off with TechStream but now I am on the fence since people tend to not get in front of your car as much if you have DRLs running. BTW, this is my first car that has DRLs and I have noticed the not getting in front thing. It could also be that my LS is black and with DRLs going at a glance people assume it is a police car in the rearview mirror (black nose and DRLs) before doing a second take. On the other hand, it is just added stress of heat/light to a very expensive headlight assembly.
I'm interested in what the OP comes up with so keep us posted. I would be all for something that runs cooler and still keeping the high beam which seems mutually exclusive right now.
