I have been googling around with no luck. I'm probably just using the wrong terminology.

How can I program the car to unlock all 4 doors with the first button press? I have kids so they are always yanking on the doors as I do double/triple button presses.

Can anyone help me out?

Any Toyota/Lexus dealer can change it through their Techstream software.

My car was bought used from an individual - do they take it upon themselves to charge for this change?

Or is can it be done gratis?

My other Lexus you can do on the screen but this you have to go to dealer

I have kids to and mine unlocks all door with one click

However, when putting it in park it DOES not unlock all doors

So I have to always unlock it after I stop car for rear doors
Which is annoying

U can change how many doors that u want to unlock by using your key.. 2004 with Smart Key. Page 30 in your owners manual. U do not have to go to the dealer.or use Techstream software.

Yup tried that

I hold down lock and trunk at same time
The display inside changes to what I want (all doors open with one click)

I hear three beeps

Get out
Try it
Doesn't work

So I am not sure how to "select" the all door setting
Manual isn't clear

Tried it twice again where I can get display to cycle to all doors open but in reality I still have to double click

I just did it from outside the car

After you hold down lock and trunk and then the display comes , do you just let go remote and it's suppose to set?

Display came only driver
I let go
Result: one click driver unlock, two click all doors

Display came all 4 door(this is the one I want)
I let go remote
Result: still one click unlocks driver, two clicks unlock all door


So regardless of what I have done
No changes


Either I am a moron (likely)
Or something is not setting

Do u have a smart key. If u do not then this means nothing to u. Unlocking all 4 doors only works when u use the door handle to unlock the doors. Using the key will only unlock the drivers door.My key never leaves my pocket.
