I don't know if this would be the same but my son's 2008 ford mustang has a drain that is located under the front window cowling. Leaves would clog up the rubber grommet and rain water would back up in the car.

Was your windshield recently replaced? How does the rubber seal around the retractable moon roof look?

I would not think so but a leak in the heater core would do it. Does it have a order or color

AC drains on underside put finger in and feelbetween doorpost and exhausrc pipe 2inch dia. hole 6 inchs from exhaust. Put finger in hole to feel rubber hose. There is another on opposit side of car. I used compressed air to blow the clog up. Probably have to dreal with it again, unless I can clean it another way.
