Default Leaking lower control arm bushing

My lower control arm bushings have been cracked since I purchased the car 5 1/2 years ago at 98,000 miles. There have never been any clunking noises, or front end noises of any kind. Steering is straight and tight and tires are wearing normally. Now with 122,000 miles I recently noticed some fluid on my garage floor on the front passenger side which is clear with no odor or taste.. I assume it's the LCA bushing fluid. Am I to assume that now that the fluid is leaking, noises and other issues that have been discussed on this forum will begin? Can our cars still be driven if the LCA bushings no longer have fluid? I'm not quite sure how long I will be keeping my car.

I don't they are fluid filled. I could be wrong, I would change that open bushing though, I've seen people loose the wheel because of those failing.

Me me
I just realized after reading this thread that fluid on my garage floor was (a month ago) from leaking LCA bushings. I was trying to figure out what it was but I thought it was just rain water dripping down with some dirt along with it. Thanks.

Those bushings are fluid filled. Mine are cracked and have no oil left inside. It will just cause a steering wheel wobble and clunking noise over bumps. You will not "lose a wheel" even with complete failure of this bushing.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. It seems that the fluid has stopped leaking from the right side lower control arm bushing and is probably empty. I had the a/c off today and even going over speed bumps I don't get the slightest noise or creak from the front end. Steering is as precise as a luxury barge could be as well no shake at all from the steering wheel. . Until I feel or hear anything unusual, I'm not planning on replacing the bushings.
