Default Any way to extend the steering wheel even more?

Hey guys I have an 04 LS430 and I am 6'2". With the steering wheel all the way extended, it is an uncomfortable position to drive with hands at ten and two. I have to keep the seat leaned back so my back doesn't hurt and can only hold onto the bottom of the steering wheel. It annoys me and I am just curious, is there any way to extend the steering wheel further to a more comfortable position?

After the wheel is out fully, click the wheel adjust **** out about 5 times and the wheel will extend another 1" or so.

Thanks Tom, I have heard of the extra extend with a few more clicks of the telescoping button. I assume that's my only option here. I was hoping there was a way to extend it out even further with a spacer or something.

Tom, do you know if this extra extension procedure needs to be performed every time the car is started? I'm assuming it can't be saved in the preset.

I disabled the automatic retraction and I think now the wheel stays the way it is with "extra" clicks. They don't extend nearly another 1", I'd say 1/4" probably. When it gets warmer, I plan to take apart the column to see if I can jerry rig a spacer of sorts. What kind of luxury vehicle it is if I can't stretch my legs??

It is NOT saved in the pre-set. Only the maximum factory-programmed column travel can be saved.

My '01 telescopes an additional 1". It also tilts down an additional 1" or more. My '06's don't tele or tilt as much additional distance as my '01 with the extra clicks.

My thoughts exactly. I would love to get away from the dashboard a little more.
