I have also gone through all three years of the 3.5 model. I started with an '04 in '07, Totaled it in 2012, Moved to an '05 which got stolen in December.

After looking at several '07 - '09 models, I came across a pretty nice looking '06 that was approximately 10K less than anything else I was looking at and despite having 103K miles, had been very well taken care of and had a 15 page history at the Lexus of Palm Beach dealership.

I really like having the dealership notes on the website as it showed me that this one owner car had a very persnickety female owner that obviously really took care of her car and had the money to do everything at the dealer.


This latest LS is Flint Mica Metallic and (unfortunately) has the chromed out 18 inch rims. This is the second car I get that an elderly owner has gone with flashy rims. What's that all about? I bought a 2012 MDX from a 78 year old's estate (he only put 5K miles on it!!!) and he had paid the dealer for the 20 inch rims from the factory!!! Not my style, but whatever... I can live with it.

ANYway.... this car also has the best ML stereo I've owned and I finally understand why so many rave... my other two always had at least one blown speaker at any one time... This one is pristine... very nice for a 10 year old system.

AND since there is no warranty and no chance of ever getting one, I plan to play around a little with it, maybe look into some audio upgrades if I can figure out how get around the OEM nav and radio/climate combo... we will see.
