I'm in the market to replace both wipers on the LS430. I understand we need a 24" and a 16" length wiper.
What wipers have you had success with?
Looking on Amazon the most popular with good ratings seem to be:
1) Bosch ICON frameless
2) AERO Premium All season frameless
3) Bosch 40324 Steeltech
4) ANCO 91 AeroVantage

There's been discussions about this and many folks agree to replace the wiper inserts with OEM and keep the existing blades. Cost is about $15 for both inserts.

Michelin Stealth Ultra are superior to all other aftermarket and OEM in my opinion Compared to Bosch Ion's, the Bosch look like cheap junk. Take a close look at the Michelin Ultra's and you'll see what I mean about their component quality.
Use a TRT30 code at Advance Auto and save 30% or Amazon sells them as well plus many others.

I've used pretty much all of them, and the only blades that come close to the quality of the OEM blades are those from PIAA. Their inserts will fit in the stock wiper arms too.

Only blades I would use are OEM or PIAA

I would not pay a lot of money for blades as i change mine every spring and fall. I pay about 10.00 each and have no problems at all with any of them.

There are very few things that suppliers make that are better designed and better quality than what Lexes does. Blades are no exception. Wouldn't use anything else.

OEM here too. The Lexus parts guy even replaced them for me the last time.

OEM blades last a really long time and follow the contour of the windshield with absolute precision. On top of that, they are dirt cheap - I bought both for $17 CAD at the dealer in 2012.

My old blades were between 4 and 10 years old when I replaced them in 2012 (car was pre-owned). I found that the new blades functioned exactly the same as the old ones, in rain, snow, -40C, +30C, everything.

I kept the old ones because I couldn't be bothered to switch them out. In the case that my current ones get damaged (ie. from being frozen to windshield and ripped apart), I have no concerns about putting the 4-10yr old blades back on.

There is no reason whatsoever for using non-OEM blades. Why pay double the price for blades that aren't designed to follow the exact curve of the windshield, that fall apart after a year or 2? A few days ago, I replaced the wiper arms and blades on a pre-owned 2002 Honda Accord. The previous owner installed Rain-X arms, which can only be used with Rain-X inserts. These Rain-X inserts did not hug the windshield properly and the rubber is poorly designed, causing the fancy fins to separate from the main base. The Rain-X ones were terrible in the rain. Instead of paying $40 for poor quality blades (and more if you need new arms), I got both Honda OEM arms for $50, which come with OEM inserts. Honda OEM inserts are equally as inexpensive as Lexus OEM inserts, ~$7 each. I trust they will remain quiet and streak-free for longer than the Rain-X inserts.

I bought new arms from dealer for about $50. came with new blades of coarse. my arms had faded quite a bit and needed to be repainted. dealer installed no extra charge. next time I will look into just replacing the blades. I tossed the old arms, the dealer always puts replaced parts in my trunk as I request. trust, but verify

There is no way that blades over a year old do not streak. They get old and hard, Look it up . That's why i change mine twice a year.iI see a big difference when i put new ones on. Not because they are cheap but because rubber goes bad when exposed to weather.Tires and wipers are the most important safety parts on your car. Just my opinion.
