So someone in my apartment complex hit my car on the passenger door. It must have been pretty hard because there is white paint all over the door. Worse still, they hit me between the door and the front passenger wheel fender area. Thankfully, the door open, closes, and locks just fine. The window still rolls up and down just fine too.

No note, no nothing. Insurance is already high in MI and crap like this doesn't make it any cheaper. Unfortunately, in my effort to save money living here, I took collision off this vehicle but left comprehensive. So it is all on me.

It just stinks. I put in a lot of time and some money finding a nice car with great bones and fixed all of the little issues myself and then all this happens. /end rant

I'll upload pictures later. Any advice? Is it easy to fix those two panels? The dent is about a foot in diameter across the gap between the two panels. About knee height.

it sucks that no one cares anymore.ive been hit 5 times on my cars over the years and no note.20 years ago my wife tapped a old car and i told her to leave a note and once i hit a outside rear view mirror on a truck and i left a note.today i wouldnt leave a note as no one else does.

Not a good idea though I know how it feels
My bimmer got hit on the front fender - no note But:
a guy next in the parking lot saw it and recorded the licenseplate nr.
Now the police charged her with hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident and her insurance will surely go up.
Somebody might always be watching or you get recorded on a surveillance camera.
Be a man and take responsibility otherwise you will be counted in the same low level category
And Lexus drivers are not that kind

Do you have uninsured motorist coverage on your policy? Hit and run should be covered under that.
