How do you know its time to replace suspension on 06 Sport?
I have a modern luxury 06 LS430 Sport. Lately I feel the suspension is softer but also the ride is rougher when the road is not super smooth. It just reach 100k and I think its perhaps suspension had wore out over the years. How do I confirm its the suspension and what part beside shock need to be replace? Thanks.

A couple of warning signs to tell you when your shock absorbers need replacing include: your car bottoms out when you drive over railroad tracks, speed bumps or dips in the road. Another tell-tale sign is that your car bounces up and down several times after a bump.
To determine how bouncy your ride is - take your car out for a night time drive. Every time you hit a dip or a bump in the road, watch the aim of your low beam headlights (which indicates the leveling of your car). Ideally, the car will tilt up, then down, then back to level. This will be reflected by the aim of your headlights. If your car bounces up and down more than once or twice, your shocks are wearing out.
People don't typically wait until their car to "bottom out" before they replace the shocks (this is the worst case). Most will replace them when the car gets too bouncy (bounces up and down more than twice after a bump). Some will replace the shocks once they started to develop the "mini-bounces" in the form of slight vibration through the steering wheel.

Shocks are like the engine or Transmition the wear strats from the 1st time it woks. And the performance detoriation is slow so you don't notes emidatly. Only after you fit new shocks you see the difference.
My suggestion is if you are ok with how they feel don't touch it. If you are planning on keeping the care for another 100 k, I suggest bye the shocks, bushes, ball joints ...etc, not all at once but over few months. And when you decide it's time or one of the parts fail. Replace them all at once.
That is what I do.
