Just picked up this beautiful 02!! :)
Hey guys I am new to Club Lexus, just wanted to introduce myself. So, the time has finally come and I have finally gotten the car that i've been after for a long time. A Pearl White Lexus LS430. If there's any advice or tips you guys can give me that would be appreciated! Thank you and have a great day.

Congrats on the LS! Stinks you got a CEL already! That would make me suspicious the seller 'cleared' the code for showing to sell!? Then again, I'm a suspicious and not quick to trust kind of guy..lol.
If you scan and find out it's a P0031 code, it's the oxygen sensor aka O2 sensor aka air/fuel sensor. I threw that code a week ago. It's fully chronicaled on my thread here... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...-m-pissed.html

Not sure what you're considering "big", but don't pop the champagne just yet. Something "big" related to a code P0430 is possible bad cat, but I'm a pessimist.
How many miles are on the clock? Any exhaust leaks that are noticeable?

Just hit 94k, I mean I don't consider P0430 a big deal. The worst that can happen is a bad cat. It's either a Cat, O2 or exhaust leak. I'll have to check it out.
