Can anyone get me these two parts- Trunk closer & striker?
Can anyone get these parts for cheap or know if there is a junk yard that sells them ?
I found them on this dealer website but i think the price is ridiculous.
I need the two circled red pieces, cause my trunk keeps saying its open, and it will only open manually with the key. (No my valet lock is not pressed)
Any help is appreciated. Everytime it says trunk open it drains out my battery.
If you have a DMM check the sensor on the closer assembly. Its just a pin switch thats normally open or closed (one or the other dont know off the top of my head). If its bad just find a comparable replacement at an electronics store and change it out. Shouldnt cost more then maybe $10. Thats probably your problem and why you get the trunk open warning even when its closed.
