going to a drive in movie. need advice
I'm leaving for a drive in movie in a few hours. Never been to one. This one is modernized. No box in the window you use the car radio. Long question short. Will the battery hold up for a movie? I don't know how much of a battery hog the amp is. I'm planning on leaving everything off but the radio. I'll turn the nav screen off too.
Now reason I'm asking. The day I bought the car I killed the battery. I sat in it for an hour and 10 minutes playing with the Nav computer. I didn't realize how much time passed. (Funny how time passes when you're playing with a new toy) Nor did I realize I left the headlights on the whole time. I'm sure HID's are a huge power hog.

My experience with the LS's battery is horrible. It drains out very quickly imo, running a fairly new battery.
I suggest you get a battery jumper, it is a life saver and I'm sure you will need it in the future.
Here is a nice one I found, and it also has an air compressor:
