Default Can anyone tell me where to buy this head unit/module?

Hello fellow Lexus owners, I'm upgrading my stereo system in my car. I need a module that mirrors the aftermarket head unit the factory display in a 2003 lexus LS430.

Does anyone know what it's called and where I can order it from? Also, will my AC controls still work? Please help me out if you can. Thx.

You have 3 options
1.Keep it as is as and add a ipod adapter in the glove
2. Get a sound processer and remove the Levinson amp and run a aftermarket amp off the sound processer. You can also upgrade the speakers by doing this.
3. I'm not 100% sure this will work but go on ebay and buy a used non navigation radio and install it and installing a aftermarket indash with it.they sell wood trim kits.
I've seen people with oem and aftermarket indash at the same time. Looks funny to me

Hi, I have a Mark L. with nav and the aftermarket is a Kenwood DNX771HD. It has nav built in. When the kenwood is on its nav screen or DVD , I want the mark L. to show the same thing. I know it can be done, I just don't know what the module is to make it that way.

Do you mean like this?

You want to be able to display video from the aftermarket head unit on the stock nav screen?

Yes, YES! That's what I want. How do I do it, and what do I need to get it done?

Thats awesome! Do you ever find the unit is too low? It sucks they don't have other wood options. Maybe I could wrap the front of it in suede to match my UL headliner...

I dont like the fake wook look. The color matches the factory plastic well and I think it looks cleaner that way than fake wood. The unit does sit low but I display video out the stock nav screen and use the other unit for audio mostly.
