Default Air Suspension When Changing Tire

The other day i got a screw in one of my rear tires. Took it to get it fixed. The guy jacked the car up removed the tire, removed the screw, put tire back on..dropped the car back down.

When the car was dropped it went all the way down. It appeared as if the body was sitting on the tire. Then it started to rise again to its normal height.

Is this normal? Should i be worried about the air suspension?

Also, the car was on while all of this was happening. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.

If you leave or turn the car on it screws with the air suspension computer. Always have the car completely off when vehicle of off the ground. You should be fine just good to know for the future.

Yea. Once i saw it went all the way down i figured maybe i should have turned the car off. Just hope that did not affect the life of the air suspension.
