Is this a good deal?

I've been in the hunt for an LS430 04-06 for a bit now, and i just came across this one last night, I believe this has the custom luxury package? The only concern I have is it has 160k, now I know these can last a long time but I've seen at least two other 04 ls430s with about 100k for the same price but those didn't have nav/backup cam or the custom luxury, is this a good deal or should I wait for something better? I've been trying to find a silver or black LS with black interior and the 5 spoke wheels so this kinda called my name..

I would likely try to talk them down 2k, but I'm going to look at others, what is a good price for these? Because Many dealers in my area are still asking 20k which is crazy.

Just goes to show how awesome these cars are. Mileage, condition, service history, how many owners, etc. play a major role. As low mileage examples become more scarce the prices will remain fairly high. I paid full retail from a Lexus dealer for mine but it was a real cream puff as they say. Plus they gave me really good money for my 99 LS400 trade in. It has been about 3 years now but 18,5 is what I paid for my UL with 104k miles. I think you should be able to find a lovely well taken of 04 - 06 model for around for 12 - 18 depending on condition and mileage. Don't be afraid to shop outside your local area. I drove 600 miles to get mine.

just bought an 05 UL $16k, mint interior, 63k miles, two shocks are weak. Its a buyers market for these cars, be patient and wait for the car you want and offer an aggressive price, you'll be surprised

I had a shock go bad at 55,000 miles and it was replaced under extended warranty. They said it was leaking.

I can tell they are weak from both bouncing on it while parked, and while driving it. Its perfectly level, its just too floaty at speed. Yes, these cars have soft suspensions, but they should still be stable and level while cruising over typical highway ups and downs. My two weak shocks are at opposing ends, meaning front right and rear left, so when the car went over a bump, the chassis would rock FR to LR, not straight front to rear.
The other way to tell,,,,slight greasy moisture on the shock body, right below the rubber covering on the shock. That, plus the tell tale ride characteristics, showed me the bad shocks. Sure enough, the other two shocks were bone dry in that area.
I say weak as opposed to totally shot, which is what you'd get with pogo-ing majorly up and down. Occassionally you see that on other cars on the highway...makes you cringe, but the wheel is violently moving up and down with every little bump

I've noticed multiple LS I've looked at are missing at least one of the sensors or its black, is that a cheap fix. I honestly don't care that much about using the sensors but looking at it would bug me.
