Default Do I need a Rear Height Control Sensor - if I dont have adjustable suspension

my Rear Height Control Sensor has a broken bracket I took off. My car does not have any ride selection or adjustment I can see. It appears to be a base model more or less.

Do I need to reattach the senor/ bracket? I wasn't sure if it was needed, I dont have any sort of warning light or code when the sensor is hanging there..

This sensor is for headlight aiming (up / down) depending upon weight in vehicle. It is unrelated to ride selection or air suspension.
