Interchangeability of front seat bottoms
So my perforated leather on my LS430 2006 driver's seat is falling apart. I got multiple quotes for replacing that center section and they are all about $500 and not an exact match for the perforation. Been trying to find another driver's seat I can steal the cushion from to replace mine but have not had any luck. I can find multiple passenger seats so I was wondering about the cushion interchangeability. Looks like the only difference is the gap filler (between seat and center hump) sewn to the side of the cushion is on the left side of the cushion for passenger and right side for driver; I would have to cut off and reattach or leave off to use the passenger cushion on the driver's side. Anyone else try this or know about fitment? Thanks.

if you find a cover for your seat put a new cushion in while you have the seat cover off.
check the part number of the passenger seat cushion to see if it is the same as the drivers seat cushion.i dont think it will work.i have seen the covers on ebay from time to time.good luck with this.
the side that goes against the center console is not leather but is a cloth that is stretchable.you would see that if the passenger cover was one the drivers side.
