Default Revs on cold start, nav and speakers

Hi All

Its a bit cold here in NL at the moment (our summer!) and I just started her up and was surprised that the revs went right up to 1500. Since I was just moving her to a new parking spot I did not have time to see if the revs go back down pretty quickly but I assume this is the case.

Is it normal for the engine to rev to 1500 on a cold start?

Just got my update DVDs for the nav system. There are now 4 DVDs for Europe. Luckly for me 3 of them have NL so for most trips at least I can put in the correct DVD before leaving rather than having to swap en route.

Now I am just waiting for the VaisTech MML. I think all my speakers are still intact. I have a White Strips CD which I cranked up and no complaints (except from the neighbours!).

Mine is a 2005 with 98K Kms. Has anyone had speakers go on such a "young" model. I am also curious if many people have had issues with air struts this early?
