What tire width for my wheels/offsets?
Hi everybody!
I'm something of a new LS430 owner - haven't done any mods to show off yet!
My plan was to start with some nice wheels, bought 19"s, 8.5 width for both front and rear.
35 offset in the front and 22 offset in the rear.
My thinking was to get 245/40 R19 tires, I don't want the stretched look.
I also didn't want to stagger the tires so I can rotate them.
But I'm concerned if they will fit without any fender rolling/shaving?
If I drop an inch on lowering springs?

Your front will stick out just under half and inch (.4) more than the factory sport wheels.
Your rear will stick out just under a inch (.9) more than factory sport wheels.
This is a great site to compare sizes and offsets (http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp)
Based on what I have seen here you should be just fine. If you drop the car I would highly consider fender work and or adjustable rear camber arms.
Since your wheels are staggered with different offsets to rotate the tires you will have to dismount and remount the tires. Not as simple as moving the wheels around.
Something to note, I am running a 19x9.5 +35 on all 4 with a 245/40/19 tires as well. Its the widest rim Michelin will warranty that size tire on. If they will warranty it, it is a safe width for a 245/40/19. I did this so I can rotate my Michelin Pilot Super Sports and get some life. I will be adding a small spacer to the rear but over all I am happy.
