Deleted middle resonator, placed x-pipe. Also deleted secondary resonators and swapped with straight pipes. Right before the muffler which is stock, I have dual wireless remote controlled cutouts.

Monster when cutouts are open, silent as stock when they're closed.

I have a 2.25 x-pipe on my 2005 LS with no mufflers or resonators. It sounds a lot like Chrispy's JP Type 2 exhaust. I've been told by a lot of car guys that it sounds similar to an LS1. I also have 4 inch Borla tips as well.

On my 2002 LS430 I just have the mufflers cut off. Everything else is still stock and it sounds alright. It's only temporary until I can build a nice custom setup with nice exhaust tips.

Hi Kira!

I'm thinking of doing the same thing (rear muffler delete) on my '01 but was concerned about the possibility of drone on the highway...do you have that issue with your '02? I have a couple of sports cars and don't necessarily want the LS to sound like either of them, but wouldn't mind a little burble under acceleration LOL...maybe something along the lines of an AMG or M...a growl, but not so annoying that it takes away from the fact that it's a luxury vehicle...thanks in advance!

Thanks guys

I really love the cut-outs. Im going to use them on my BMW project. The JP exhaust is nice but I dont know jow long ill have this car.

Kira's setup sounds ideal at this point in the project

I used to own an LS430 but now I live in japan and have a crown majesta with the same 3uz engine. was curious how the exhaust in the picture below would sound on the LS since it is probably identical to what it would sound like on mines... BTW can't find any English forums for my majesta which is why I keep coming back to the LS430 section thanks.

looks like it is just deleting the muffler, can't tell if this would delete the rear resonator or not, what do you think? basically the cars share the same engine and exhaust FYI...

This is one of the best looking set-ups I have seen. Is that a stock bumper and was it just cut to fit the Junction ehxuast?

I can try to get a video this weekend.

IIRC, these are 5x8 mufflers with integral tips.
