I have been using South Atlanta for a few years now. It's convenient because they are local for me and I don't have to pay for shipping. Good dealer. My favorite in the Atlanta area.

Default Sewell Parts Alternative

I recently needed a replacement tail light assembly, and found Lexus of South Atlanta (lexusparts@lexusofsouthatlanta.com) had a better price than Sewell. Can't guarantee this is the case for everything, but it was for the part I needed.

MyLparts.com gives a CL discount and has the some of the best shipping prices I have found online. I used to use Sewell but when you start figuring in shipping it's not always the best price out there.

I agree. I get better discount prices at my local dealer, parts arrive overnight. I just email parts manager and parts arrive next day, even on Saturdays. It helps that the parts manager drives '01 UL. I also get parts discount (20 - 30%) if work is done at the dealer (which is always a last resort for me). And many routine maintenance parts are available cheaper online, free ship, no tax.

Sad to see them go. I will probably jump on board the Atlanta and Lparts ships once Sewell take a dive. But to be honest, i've been going to Napa for lite parts such as rotors, pads and such. Prices are very reasonable and quality seems to be good. Serious parts like plugs, suspension, electrical, i will stick with OEM.

RockAuto also sells various OEM parts at 1/2 the cost of Sewell or South Atlanta. Such as O2 sensors, Denso radiator, condenser, brake pads, Aisin timing belt kit, and various other parts.

Thanks. I bought my y-pipe from them and it worked out pretty good. I will keep them on deck also.

Are RockAuto parts the exact, same-quality parts that you would get at a Lexus dealer?

The e-mail I received from them said SewellParts.com will redirect to Sewell.com/OrderParts on March 1st 2015.

They were always the 1st place I'd check for parts and prices, and I have purchased things from them with the forum discount.

But I did get a lower price for the LS430 Timing Belt kit from Amazon.

Depends on the item. Denso and Aisin are exactly the same. KYB makes shocks for Lexus. I like Beck Arnley as well. They make good parts.

I ordered the case of oil filters, some air filters(3) and the DVD navigation upgrade and total shipping was only $11. I was ok with that. Always better to order multiple things to get better shipping price.

I called Lexus of SA & spoke with Will Todd (great guy to deal with) & the prices I was qouted were the same as Sewell for anyone that is interested. Complete front brakes (rotors, pads, shims & hardware kit) was $651 plus shipping. And rears was $613.17 plus shipping. Sounds more than fair & no need to place an order this week at least.
