Hey peeps,

For those out their who opted for the optional storage box instead of the ash receptacle, I'd like to ask a favor.
I don't smoke, so I don't really need the ash receptacle and it just takes much space that can be better used.

I would like to know the measurements of this storage box. I would like to know if it would fit my humongous iPhone 6 plus. Plus, it actually looks really cool and very stock smooth with the the whole interior.

I thought it'd be cheaper, but for $230 it better fit my gigantic phone.

NOTE: While the stain color of the storage box cover is sold to match your current interior, it's highly unlikely that the unique wood grain / knots of the new console box cover will match the existing wood grain of the console surrounding the box. I swapped my existing ash tray wood grain cover and installed it on the console storage box to retain the perfect match of both the color and the wood grain of the existing console.

KiNg, there's one more dimension you need ... the depth of the box alone is 2 3/8" and installed to the top of the console wood approx. 2 5/8". My accessory storage box fits my iPhone 5s on its side. Since the box/ash tray cover is on a spring flex cam (the cover must be depressed down further than flat to close and open the box/ash tray cover), the cover cannot be closed with my phone concealed in the box. (I use the phone tray drawer just above the console box for my phone, and charge it either from the console box 12 v. receptacle or from USB outlet in the center armrest storage box connected to VaisTech MML.)
