Default Trying to locate Bank 1 Sensor 1 O2 sensor for P0135

Hello,

I'm trying to find the o2 sensor location for bank 1 sensor 1 to correct a p0135 code for my 2002 ls430.
I've read the threads indicating that it's on the drivers side. However, i need to know if this is in the engine or under the car? And if so, where exactly is it located? A diagram would be most helpful.

Thanks,
Troy

Welcome to the forum, Troy...

Here's the diagram for a 2004 LS430 - I believe the locations for the O2 sensors are the same as the 2002.

There are 4
Part numbers can be found here- https://www.lexussouthatlantaparts.c...category=29174
You can also buy reputable after market sensors such as Denso for about $50 ea.

Is your check engine light on? I can't imagine all 4 dying at once. When the first one failed tour check engine light would have alerted you...

i just purchased an 04 with 197k miles and timing belt never changed, i took it to my shop and got it done, the guy was like if you waited 2 more days or so can be snap.
glad finally got it done. engine light was on and was told all sensors need replacement, i was told there are 3 but i just wanted to double check with the members here...

i'm looking into Denso part but can't find their part # for all four of them.

The 2 downstream have the same part No 2344167
The 2 upstream are left and right specific so only 1 of each are required.
