I was thinking about how an LS to LS swap would play out...now that I know, I want to get started on mine...having 600+ HP in a UL is a thought that brings great joy to me...the ability to slay AMG's, M's, and CTS-V's at a fraction of the cost with absolutely no compromise in luxury, and a HUGE upgrade in dependable horsepower (LS's are bulletproof and side of the road serviceable for the most part) gets me all giddy-like...in my humble opinion, this is a GREAT build...

...and now...I'm gonna need some alone time.

late to this party but how do you plan to deal with the CA Smog regulations? Did you get it BAR ref'd for an engine change sticker?

How did you guys deal with the LS430 ecu and it's integration into the main chassis harness for CAN function?

Wow this is incredible, I'm not sure how I missed this thread. I don't have the know to tackle something like this but I would definitely consider a shop who was confident they could do this to mine. You have to post a video of reactions of people in this car, I bet they are priceless. I'd probably have a exhaust on mine that was variable so I could make it quieter when I wanted to.

Though I'd be much more inclined to do this (scratch that...have this done - cause there's no way on earth I'd be able to handle such an undertaking myself) to my SC than my LS, my hat is off to you, dear sir!

Fabulous job!

Now bring that thing over to show off at the Detroit "Woodward Dream Cruise" side-by-side with the original Detroit muscle : http://www.woodwarddreamcruise.com/

Would love to record the callback from my indie, when I drop this car off saying yeah can you replace the timing belt, let's go with the Aisin kit and yes do the tensioner too.

A clutch makes every car mo' better!

OK, a little late to the party but, DAM that is sick. How much HP are you getting out of that car ?

You should so do that to a LS460... it would be totally crazy...

Not for me but, DAM I would love a ride in it !
