Quick update:
I put my P7s back on after removing my Blizzak snows.
WOW what a difference... man I miss these. The Blizzaks were so loud and felt like you were driving on lead balloons. They did not take bumps well at all... especially bad at high way speeds and going over expansion joints. I did not realize how bad they were until I put the P7s back on the car. Wow what a difference!!
I will report back later in the summer as the P7s get more miles on them.
But before next winter I need to find a new set of snows to run. Open to suggestion and other feedback from you guys... well that's how I purchased these P7s.

Hey Jff706!!!!
Hey man good to hear from you again......I tried several times to PM you and thank you for the wheel and never got a reply. That was very nice of you...I really appreciate it. The wheel had some scratches in it but still better then most of mine. I sanded, filled, and primed the scratched areas to a smooth surface. Then it got really cold and I decided to hold the project til Spring........Also I bought 4 spray cans of silver paints from the auto store and none of them match perfect. I will finish your wheel soon now that we have nicer weather and once I have one wheel complete the process will be easier and faster for the rest.
As for the tires......No I have not ridden in any LS430 with MXV4s or Primacys. Laveshero was supposed to drive my car one time he was in town to compare w MXV4s but we never hooked up. Then the other gent WASQANOVA sp? from 2 pages back did come over and drive my car to compare to his w Primacys on it. He did not bring his LS430 he showed up in another car so he was the only one to feel the difference for himself. Thats all I have to go on regarding comparing the 2.....and a scattered group of happy Primacy owners and also several stating the primacys were a disappointment...louder then expected
You can read the guy who drove my cars review a couple of pages back but here was his take....Quote.....
.....( I bought Michelin Premier A/S for my 2002 LS 430 (non-UL, now at 167k, 12k on tires) because of the good traction that it promises to offer even after accumulating miles on it but the noise on the Premiers is more noticeable and intolerable than I thought it would be. )
( Jim's 04 LS 430 rides very smooth and quiet at 137k miles (4k on the tires). It is much smoother than my 02 non-UL, perhaps close enough to the 01 UL. My 02 LS has the Euro-suspension which is geared towards sportiness but I still went ahead and bought it when I test drove it two years ago because it was in great condition, came with all records since 10k miles and fit the budget. It is now at 167k miles and feels less smooth, quiet and comfy compared to Jim's 04 LS.)
My take on this whole comparison is that they are both very good tires for our cars. The only thing that would sway me one way or another is that there are zero complaints about the P7s and yet we have had several complaints about the Premiers being louder then expected.
I also believe like the last guy who complained about his Premiers that it might take a while for the tire to break in a bit to quiet down. I just got home from a 8 hour round trip for the holidays. My car gobbled up the highway averaged 19.7 mpg driving 75/80 on the PA Turnpike and my tires felt smoother then ever. I am very happy with them and without question wouldnt even research another tire at this point....I would just throw on another pair of P7s.
FYI.....I still only have 6k miles on my tires though........
I want to thank you again for the rim.....good karma was sent your way

Ha ok JFF706
I certainly understand the computer thing. I fight with mine every day. I would have to look at the charts again to make sure you are looking at the right tire or in the right category. You would want the P7 Cinturato all seaon ( plus )....when u do your research that makes all the difference. Also H rated or V rated makes a difference in Consumer Report ratings. Last time I checked I thought the P7s were in the number two spot...and crazy enough I think the Conti's were number 1? I cant remember....will check and report back.
Either way...thanks again for the wheel...very generous of you!!!!!

Very great thread. I just bought P7s from tire rack for my LS. They aren't the PLUS version, but I just had them installed and it's like having a different car. They are 2013 tires, got them at tire rack for 69 apiece. Not too bad!

JTHOMPSON....Wow thats an awesome price.....I hope the non plus P7s can do well for you......but from what I understand it is imperative that if u want the tire that everyone is very happy with.....ya gotta get the plus. Of course u bought yours for half of we paid....so if they are any good at all you win. Good luck to you.
