Hey guys,
I'm planning on plasti dipping my car. Looking to get a white pearl color.
So if that goes well, I will definitely need to plasti dip my rims to either black or dark silver/grey.

I was hoping someone would have photos of those colors in real life.

I experimented with black and gold. Here is a pic of the black one. I didn't like it on my gold car. The tire is just in front of the regular tire(not mounted to the lugs). I used my spare to plastidip. It just peels right off.
I'll upload the gold one in a few minutes.

Here is the one in gold. 1 of 4. Didn't like it either. The color is off as you will see in the four pics.

Second pic. A little out of focus but you can see the difference in color from the body color.

Third pic. Looks darker than it actually is. I"m not a photographer so it shows.

Fourth pic in the set. It's sitting in my trunk for now. I'm not interested in trying the plastidip anymore. It may work for someone else but I'll stick to stock or oem wheels done by the professionals.
IMHO black plastidip would probably look good on a black LS with the clear plastidip on top for gloss/shine.

The black looks like you have a cheap metal spare on the car.

theres nothing you can do to those wheels to make them look good , sorry

You can start by not letting people put weights on the outside of the wheel!

1WILLY1...I agree. I like the five spoke wheels.
JAYCLAPP...Totally agree. I forgot to tell them when I got new tires a couple of months ago. When I go in for balance and rotate hopefully I can remember what that string tied around my finger is for.
