Default The Ls430 itch..

As a hardcore Ls400 guy I'd never thought I'd ever hear myself say this but I'm seriously considering a Ls430 as my next daily driver. Over the last few months working at the lexus dealer I've seen a ton of 2nd gen 430s show up as trade-ins (mostly by original owners who love there cars but are starting to get scared of them reaching the decade mark and beyond). I've spent plenty of time behind the wheel of them too since I sell lexus cars for a living. (Yeah my job is AWESOME) lol, anyway I never really considered a 430 but there just as solid as a 400 and they still have that old school toyota feel that we all love, and there pretty quick off the line. I sold a 05 a few days ago that really really stuck out in my mind and has left a lasting impression with me. It was a green color called cypress pearl, -seems to be fairly rare, and it had a grey leather interior. It wasn't the baddest one and aside from navi it didn't have many other features but it was just so damn nice! By the end of the demo as I was getting it ready for delivery I really kind of wished it was mine lol. Oh and it had chrome TRD rims on it. For some reason that one has me mesmerized. Anyway as much as I love my diamond pearl 95 Ls400, and all Ls400s, there just getting too old to be everyday transportation so my next one will be a 430. I know these cars are getting old enough to be cheap now but not really old enough to have special problems associated with this model yet, atleast that I'm aware of. Is there anything I should look for or be aware of? What are the chances of finding a cypress pearl one with the UL package on it? And what's a fair price to pay for one that's in really really clean shape? I'll be in the market for a Ls430 prob close to the end of the year but I'm starting to look now. Oh and btw even as the 400 is getting archaic, it's still my all time favorite and I'll always have one in my driveway lol. Thoughts?

Here's a pic of the 05 cypress pearl 430 I sold the other day. Took this as I was gassing it up for the lucky new owner. I take pics of every one I sell so I can remember it.

its only natural to go from ls400 to ls430

I can GUARANTEE you once u make the switch you will not look back , you will very easily forget all about the ls400's.

Just like me with my sc400's , I was obsessed with them for a long time but now I cant see myself going back to one.

Idk man the 400 has been a HUGE part of my life for a long time. I've had one since I was 17 and I'm almost 30 now. The only thing that sucks is that the 400s are just getting so old now that there not really practical anymore but I'll always have one. Guess well see when I finally make the switch. I'm sure I'll love it.

This is prob the best time to get one too. There new enough to still find nice low mile well kept examples of, and there old enough but not scary old to be getting affordable as well. Super nice 50k examples are in the high teens and Hooptie bombs are around 4500, -yes I've seen a few here and there that were horribly abused but not too many.

im around your age , and 30 is a good age to make the switch , trust me you will not regret it.

The 01-03's are the best bang for your buck.

I picked up an 03 with 68 000 miles for 7800$, truly a blessing.

keep your eyes open u can do the same

By the way I also said I would never sell my sc400, it went for sale almost right away , you will be blown away by these 430's u simply wont go back.
