**** under dash to the right of steering wheel

Have a 2002 LS430. Just found that there is a **** underneath the dash to the right of the steering wheel. Couldn't find anything about it in the owners manual. Anybody have any idea what the **** controls? Cant figure it out! Thanks, Jay

Controls the volume of the beep when you hit the key fob to lock the doors
