Default Remote Start For LS?

Are there aftermarket remote starters for LS 430 with the smart keys? I would like one so that I can crank up to Cool or heat up the car before I get in.

same here, it seems like all hack job ****. the problem with these cars is that most people wont work on it them self, leaving kind of an information gap. its just sad that its such a nice techno whiz car without remote start, i mean there is sooo much design thought into every part of this car its hard to believe that it doesnt have remote start and the tpms is a joke.

What?? The Tire Pressure Monitoring System is pure genius!
Ya kinda lose credibility on this site pretty quick flipping comments like that with no back-up...

Yeah the LS430 would be perfect if it had remote start. The smart key seems to complicate things.

the tpms is too slow to react to rapid deflation, not a blow out, but a large leak before the tire is destroyed, my 03 jeep would start beeping within seconds of a deflation.

im just saying a 03 grand cherokee is orders of magnitude less refined than the ls430. i would like an actual sensor to be able to tell me, HEY DUMMY YOU HAVE A FLAT or leaking tire.

Them early 2000 timeframe GC's are actually quite nice & I'm keeping my eye open for an '03/'04.
I don't know, 4ea sensors that are guaranteed to go bad one day or another versus the slick LS430 system that just takes advantage of the traction/ABS system already in place.... Pretty brilliant by me.
I had a nail a month ago and my system let me know right away after losing just a couple of pounds...
Best, RW

did you look here?

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...yes-or-no.html

Then in another post I find this... which is not encouraging....

Thanks to all who posted their experiences and work-arounds with remote starter systems on Lexus Smart Key models.
Just bought a 2010 RX 350 with Smart Key system. WARNING ... dealer-installed remote-start is NOT an available option from Lexus with Smart Key. This is very disappointing, since I really appreciate remote start, especially in winter; for example, after an ice storm (I have no gagrage.) My dealer said remote start is too difficult for Lexus to consider because of complications with the Smart Key system. However, He did give me the name of an independant and reputable installer who has, according to him, succeeded in installing remote start on Lexus Smart Key models. I will contact him and post my experience here. Meantime, I would like to read more from others with experiences with remote start installations compatible with the Lexus smart key system.

Thanks for the link. I had seen it before but I didn't notice that post. It makes me wish the car just came with a normal key. My 09 GX470 had remote start installed when I bought it but it has a normal key. I don't know if it was OEM though

I think so. There was a guy with an 01 LS430 on here that mentioned he had remote start and he had no trouble with it.

I have it on my 09 GX470 and 93 SC300 with no problems.
