Bigger front and rear sway bars, firmer bushings, coilovers, bigger wheels with lower profile tires - throw some money into parts and you can certainly firm up handling and feel on the LS430 - but you are gonna hit decreasing return on investment fairly early - it is still a big heavy ponderous luxo barge...

I believe the A6, M5 and the 535 are midsize luxury where the LS is the full size so it is a tough comparison. I drove a few A8's which will neve drive like an LS either due to AWD and stiff frame. Even driven the 04, 05, 06 745, I have not, but then yur gas mileage tanks?

I don't know what you're feeling in the LS430 but frame stiffness is NOT an issue. Our frames are more taught than Teutonic cars and that's a fact. We just have much softer suspension calibration and mounting points. Our laser welds have incredible penetration.

I feel like there are a plethora of great high-school jokes within that post, but they're escaping me...

I wouldn't mess with the ls430 to much then you'll lose that smooth factory ride. I had coilovers , 20 rims and it didn't ride bad . I still wasn't satisfied so I was gonna put a exhaust on her and all. long story short I don't have my ls430 anymore ( tears in my eyes) made a 360 turn and got a 2012 stp rt chally. Man driving is fun again . The ls is the best car I've owned but is way to boring for me at the moment.
