Optimistic, eh? My ritual used to be to take the snows off on the very first day of Spring but I've learned to wait until after April 1. Had to put the snows back on at least twice in the past 10 years due to a late heavy snowfall.
The Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 we have on our cars ride so nice and are so quiet that I don't mind waiting to put the MXV4's on.

I will try those next time as the WS70 is a sport snow right? I Have the XIce 3's. I have driven in snow without snows for almost 40 years until this year.
It is kind of like buying a boat Happiest day of yur life is the day ya buy it, and the day ya sell it. Glad to get em on glad to get em off.
I have had alot of snow driving this year but my 90 mile RT HWY cruise to work begs for the MXV4's.
We plow alot up here I can drive the Highlander to work and drop off the wife it is does snow but this time of year it melts fast.

I'll take the winter tires off the Prius next week, assuming temps warm up. That car get most of the highway miles. My Ridgeline and my wife's Fit are driven mainly around town and I'll hold off a bit on them in case of more snow.
