Default Great site!

Just bought a 2006 LS430, it has 88k miles so I am prepping to do the timing belt, this site has been a great source of info and Sewell is awesome! Just ordered $700 worth of parts for "while I am in there" haha. Looking forward to contributing now I just need to find some good wheels. lol.

Welcome! I've only been a member on here for a couple months now, but been lurking for a good while. There is a wealth of info on this site! So much info, that i barely have to create any new post due to lots of multiple useful threads already.

No pic yet, but it is a bone stock 2006 LS430, Mercury with gray interior. Not my first color choices but I am a big fan already, drives great, took a car full of coworker's to lunch and they all commented how nice the ride was. Kind of punched it to get around some cars on the hwy for my exit and before I knew it I was doing 100mph and there was no noise at all. lol.

Thanks Tom! I have an LX450, that I love and have done a few things with like a custom turbo kit, and I have always owned Lexus or Toyota but I agree this is a pretty sweet car.

If anyone wants some light reading this is my LX. lol

So I have been looking around and I haven't seen anything specific on the baseline procedures for getting a new 430. I assume it is probably similiar to the LX's:

Coolant flush
Engine Oil change
Transmission oil drain/fill repeat
Rear diff fluid change
Flush brakes
guessing there are grease zerks on the driveline?
What about the front end? Unit bearing assembly or just pull apart and repack bearings?
Any other baseline items that should get attention to prevent further wear?

Thanks!
