Question Anyone Rebadge Their LS430 as Toyota Celsior? Source for parts?

For those of you that have rebadged your LS430 as a toyota, I'd be curious where your sourced parts? I'd like to not spend several hundred dollars, but if I can swap the front and rear L emblem for the T for less than $200 I'd be happy with that.

Would love recommendations on source, and photos of anyone who has already done it!

Edit: Anyone have experience with these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-CELSI...-/300479268928

You can get the "T" emblems for cheap if you dont care about them being the JDM versions. Just take the emblems off and match it at the Toyota dealership. The "Celsior" emblem you obviously have to get JDM. Those are usually around $65 by them self.

Any particular reason why you want to do that? Just to be different maybe?

It's a bit complicated. Beyond the unexplicable reasons, however, I would say it represents me well to buy a product that represents such a high level of quality, while de-emphasizing the status aspect of it. I'm not flashy, I'm not a VIP, but I always prefer to invest in quality.

So I'm a bit curious - I see that a round T emblem replaces the L, and Celsior replaces LS430, but what replaces "Lexus" on the left side?

Nothing. If you want to do this you will need to remove the "Lexus" emblem from the left side rear and fill the holes. Also the "Celsior" emblems tabs do not line up with the "LS430" emblems tabs so you would need to fill in those hole and either brake off the tabs or drill new ones.

One of the guys in the LS400 subforum did the complete conversion, he said one of the hardest parts to obtain was the Toyota Celsior badged airbag.

The car looked sweet when the conversion was complete, he was extremely thorough.

I just did a Celsior badge and the emblem holes don't fit exact, but the double sided tape around the word does cover up the peg hole that is not covered. I kept the rest as is.

Do you have any photos of it in-progress, or at least the finished product?

Time to put your money where your mouth is.....if you want to "invest in quality" and do everything CORRECTLY, you will also need to buy four new door sills that read "CELSIOR" on them. Currently, your door sills read "LEXUS".

The door sills do not affect the quality of the vehicle.

That said, those look sharp, so I probably would do that. I just haven't found a solution for the Lexus badge short of doing bodywork.
