I have my resonators deleted only because I installed an electric cut out.
Honestly you don't gain much noise by deleting them, except if you open a cutout.

You'll definitely hear some drone if you remove them and replace with straight pipes.
If you want to minimize the drone then replace them with an x-pipe, which will help regulate the flow thus leading to less drone noise.


If you don't want to get a cutout. I say a deleted resonator + Magnaflow mufflers would sound pretty good.
