Good for you. Sounds like a great deal. I bet your car is just like mine. It's 2004 Mercury Metallic with 17" wheels and Nav with Mark Levinson. Pretty sure it's the Modern Luxury Package. This is my first silver car, and I really like it.

Weird thing though. Several people have commented how much it looks like a Mercedes. I think it is the color, since nobody ever said that about my white 430. I know when someone mentions a Mercedes, the picture in my mind defaults to a silver sedan. Not that I care. I love the car and the color.

Bob04 - You have at least the Modern Luxury package..
If it is a Custom Luxury or Ultra Luxury, it will have headlight washers in the front bumper.

It is the modern luxury package. No headlight washers. Thanks.

I bought it from private party and glad I didn't purchase that one from the dealer. Maintenance on timing belt, water pump, belts, brake pads, front rotors, spark plugs, filters, and all fluids have been completed at 90k miles. Owner did most of the work and also gave me the all original parts and receipts. Tires are good, but going to replace them with Michelin MXMV and 18" oem wheels, car came with the 17" stocks. He actually restores cars for a hobby and is very meticulous with his work. Car looks still good for being 10 years old and you can tell he took real good care of the vehicle. I will post pics soon and I can't be any happier going back to the old LS430. Now the issue is selling my L460L...lol!
Did your old 430 have 17" or 18" wheels? I've never ridden in a car with the 18" wheels, but I've heard that the ride is harsher. The 18s sure do look better.

Here is a quick snap. You can see the LS460L in the back awaiting to be sold! It's exactly the same as yours Bob04, my LS just has higher miles. My old LS430 did have 18" with Michelin's MXV4's which rode excellent, much better then these cheap BFG on 17"s. I got the replica 18" from OEwheelsllc, and never ran into any issues with them. I added another pic below with my replica wheels. I am going to get another set as soon as they come in stock.

Those look nice. I like to stay with the factory look, and those look identical.

Funny. My old 430 was Crystal White too. My 460L was also white. Looks like your 460L is silver.

I'll be interested to see if you miss the 460L after it is gone. It's been a month for me, and I haven't missed it once. In fact, the only thoughts I have had is how glad I am that it is gone.
