Front Corner Light Bulb replacement on 04 LS430
Does anyone have any advice, or help on how to replace the small corner light on a 04 LS430.
This is not the Blinker, but the little light bulb, which is in the corner of the light assembly.
I looked on YouTube, but couldn't find anything.
I removed the cover under the hood, and was able to reach the Headlight, but can't see how to access the little corner light.
Thank you.

You have to replace from underneath. Unscrew plastic undercover off in that area enough to allow your arm to reach up (blindly) and unscrew (counter-clockwise 1/4 turn) the light socket. Swap out old bulb for new (you're smart for choosing LL 5-watt bulb), replace screws for underside plastic cover. Easy DIY. Good luck!

I once had a Lexus TA suggest that there is no bulb there - "it's just a reflector" she said ... I recently noticed she is no longer employed at the Lexus dealer. :-(

This is a picture of my 2002 passenger side headlight assembly. The corner bulb is the small bottom-right socket.
The 2004+ headlight assemblies are slightly different, but if a bulb exists, you would get a TAILLAMP FAILURE message if the bulb is out. I'm not sure if the driver-side corner bulb is reachable from above. I know that all passenger side bulbs in the 2002 assembly are reachable from above.

I double-checked ...There is a 5-watt bulb in the front corner of the '01 and the '06 models. The '04 has a bulb there too. StanVanDam's picture clearly shows just how isolated that bulb / socket is located in the lower body corner. Unless you have a small hand that can twist into tight corners blindly, I think it's easier to R & R that bulb from underneath that area, partially removing the underside black plastic as well as possibly removing a couple bolts in that corner for the wheel well housing (plastic). Turn the steering wheel accordingly to turn the wheels which opens the wheel housing giving you more room to work.
