you can tell the difference between the us and the uk markets.

My lexus 430 is now old being a 2005 and has done 300k but 0 faults in all that time.
In a straight line it will beat nearly any car that comes beside it. In all the years ive owned it only a 550bhp M5 and a Audi avant also over 500bhp have ever had the best of it. (oh a lambo and db9 but come on)
Ive looked at the regular bmw's the 645 or 650 despite the higher bhp they are so classless. None of the features i take for standard on my lexus. I would also swear that the lexus could take them, it just seems to put the power down far more effectivley. Im tempted with the s class bmw there similar in proce so so so so unreliable in comparison.
Im not sure how prices work in the usa but the lexus thats a few years old is over half the price of the standard 645, 545, even the 4.2 audis.

so essentualy your getting a car thats faster, has a ton more refienment and class, a load of features that the others hadnt touched yet for less then half the money..

Things like the M5 of the same age would be 4 times the price and 4 times more likley to break down. Going full on M, or getting a twin turbo merc is really the only way to beat the ls430 and it would still feel less refined and comfportable. Better cars maybe but at 4 times the money they should be.

Throttle responce get a sprint booster job sorted.

I just really wish they opened the dam chip so that you could get it custom mapped. I swear the big old engine has way more then 300bhp to give with very little extra strain..

Disappointed, not satisfied looking for more??? The salesman must have been speaking golden tunes; because after your test drive nothing changed. When you set in the LS in felt luxurious and when you test drove it did not provide you with that sift sporty feel. It was not built that way.




as for the ML, if you stick with the LS adjust the acoustic it will make a difference.
