New Member > New 430!
Hi All - please let me introduce myself and thank you all for being a valuable resource during my LS 430 hunt!
I am a long time Lexus owner but just found Club Lexus! My pattern has been to buy 6+ year old low mileage cars from a Lexus dealer here in Dallas (Sewell), drive them for 6-7 years and sell them with +/- 130k miles. Started with a 96 LS 400 and loved it, traded it for a 98 GS 400 and loved it, and sold the GS and just yesterday came home with:

- 06 LS 430, 67k miles, single owner bought from Sewell and sold back to Sewell (good records)
- paid $21,350 from Sewell Lexus - had an independent do an inspection
- black on black, tint, chromes, CL pkg
- interior is mint, drives great, with similarities in DNA and design to the LS and GS 400
Lovin it so far.
How do I clear the initial and annoying "I agree" screen from the nav!
Sorry for the marginal phone camera pics.
Thank you,
Russ in Dallas

Congratulations! Enjoy your new car.
"I agree" could have been disabled with some of the previous versions of the maps but with the latest one I am perpetually stuck with it.
There are other options to install iPod adapters that allow getting rid of "I agree" screen.

Enjoy! You'll love this car.
I have an 04 and my method of getting rid of the "I Agree" screen was to install a VaisTech iPod device (which automatically clears the I Agree at each engine start. Of course that was not the primary reason for installing the VaisTech device, just a happy additional feature.

Four years ago I chose a 2004 LS430 over a brand new Camry.
Today would you buy a 4 year old Camry with 28K miles or a 9 year old LS430 with 76K miles?
I think the answer is obvious.

I'm guessing sticking/tired door lock actuator... does it also not work if you attempt to lock with power switch from the inside? Just trying to isolate it.. to the actual remote or the actuator.
