I'm looking to purchase a 04 LS430 and I desire to have the remote start installed. Any sucess with any of you? I don't' want to compromise any factory settings on the keyless entry/start that makes the car what it is.

I have to deal with harsh winters and some time I'm running late leaving the house, I've gotten very use to starting my vehicle to heat my car and engine and cooling it in the summer months.

Much easier to do on lexus's with fob keys but not on the smart access fobs.

i think it can be done, but i'd ask only alarm people, who worked on ls430 previously.
the antitheft system (especially with smartkey system) is very complicated, and i'd hate the engine to cut out mid-drive, cos some system didn't get a proper response from key/fob/smartkey...

To my understanding of research I've done, it's possible to have Lexus install a module the allows you to push the unlock button 3 times and hold on the 3rd to have the car (ls430) remote start

That would be awesome if you can get the remote start to work like that. I've been wanting to get remote start on the LS for a long time.

It's deff possible...iv see guys write about it on the boards before and also talked about it at the lexus dealership
