I currently have my front bumper removed, and I'd like to remove the "chrome" trim before I send the bumper cover off to be painted. How's the trim piece held onto the bumper?
I think it's held on by heavy duty 3M double sided tape. I replaced my chrome trim with some generic trim I bought at Pep Boys and it used double sided tape.

Better yet... give me your address and I'll just drop mine off at your place... lol...
If you want to make the trip up to Oklahoma City I could do it. It would be cheaper to get the polish and terry cloth at Walmart than to spend money on gas.
That's not a bad price. The OEM trim directly from Lexus is around $100 for each bumper. The trim I got from Pep Boys was $15, but it had trouble sticking to the bumper.
