Hi guys. I'm about to pull the trigger on a 03 LS430 with the UL package - black onyx with ecru. Can someone tell me what Lexus calls the gray trim on the console and door panels? My SC has birds eye maple wood but the UL is different. Also how does the rear cooler work for beverages? Is there a switch or **** on the control panel? [IMG][/IMG]

The rear cooler uses air from the rear A/C. Open the cooler door and you will find a little slide on the top inside that will open and close a vent to the A/C supply.

I just got an 01 LS430 UL a few months ago and love it. The gray wood grain is called Ecru Bird's Eye Maple. If you haven't already visited this site it contains a great wealth of information: Lexus Knowledge Center

As jayclapp mentioned, the rear box is cooled by the rear A/C unit. Without the A/C on, it doesn't seem like there is much insulation around that area. I haven't really used it much since getting mine.
