Default Replacing exhaust tips

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone with more experience could chime in on this.

I'm looking to replace my stock exhaust tips with something a bit larger and that fills up the stock holes more.

Would these work?

I understand the stock tips are slip-on but I was thinking the shop could just cut it and weld the new tips on. Or are there better options?

There's some JDM tips that you buy from Japan. Check ebay. They are a bit pricey but they are worth it in my opinion.

Another member posted the below thread - I have the same ones too - just twist off the old tips and the new ones are held on by a bolt. I had to modify the bolt on mine but it was real easy - see below thread. One or two members have also spot wielded the tips on too.

I think the Magnaflows would be fine. A muffler shop should be able to do it with ease.

The JDM tips are nice but cost too much in my opinion.

I agree. $250+ on just exhaust tips? I think that's kind of ridiculous...

Yep, that's more than I paid for a set of Magnaflow mufflers with bigger tips.
