I just remembered when I did mine the etching was identicle AZ versus Lexus. Thanks to whoever brought it to my attention.

Any time you get new tires you must get them balanced and have a wheel alignment otherwise you are asking for trouble.

You could then move onto bearings etc if the wheel alignment doesn't solve the issue.

i had the same problem i fixed some lower quality and took it to the dealer they asked me to change lot of things which shouldn't have been replaced jst to get the sence that it was due to the tire quality i have this problem between 55 -60 miles only and i have a severe shivering of the steering wheel between the 55-60 but the day that i took it for alignment it reduces a bit and then they have asked me to replace the lower arm bush
and im still trying to fix it from a place to another

So whatever happend to the noise , did you ever get it situated . I noticed that this is get common on the ls430. Please post result so it can help fellow ls430 owners.

I haven't gotten it fixed yet, just dealing with the noise for now. But I will probably get it fixed soon within the next month or so.

I'm pretty sure my mechanic was right about it being a bad wheel bearing...

i will definitely post here when i get it fixed though.

Better get that fixed ASAP. That bearing locks up and you could be in trouble.

After a week long business trip (not driving my LS), the noise got a bit louder so I finally took it into Lextech to swap the bearing. My car is now as quiet as an LS should be! =)

Paul @ Lextech was also nice enough to price match sewell lexus!

So, yes the noise I was hearing was caused by a bad bearing and yes, swapping it out for a new OEM bearing fixed the issue! yay

As a non Lexus mechanic for 22 years it sounds like a wheel bearing. Would have to put it up on a lift and spin while listening to the hub with a stethoscope or long screwdriver. It could be tires if they had alot of miles and exhibited cupping on tire shoulders but as tires are new not likely. Also not related to anything the shop did.
