Gunk and grit tends to build up between the inner ring and the tip making them very firm. I removed mine by grabbing hold of the tip and firmly twisting it to the left and right slowly at first to loosen them up whilst at the same time pulling the tip straight back towards you. BE PATIENT, DONT RUSH and it will eventually slide/pull off.

Here's the pics of the small factory tips removed so you can see the inner ring that holds it onto the main exhaust:

Hope this helps!
Awesome, Thanks!

The larger JDM tips are installed by sliding them in and then tightening down a set screw. I then tac welded at 3 spots so that the tip couldnt be stolen LOL

These look like s2k ap2 exhaust tips. Thats what I have on my ls430. They fill out the whole hole and longer too. I was lucky and able to snag a pair for $55. A lot cheaper than $260. They install the same way, with a screw and you can weld some spots after to hold it secure.

$ 260 is robbery, but they do look great. Enjoy them.

Now I'll spend $300 of my time ..... and try and find some Honda ones for $ 55

Yea majority of jdm stuff shipping from Japan is going to be robbery. But if you want OEM stuff made specific for your car....you gotta pay to play.

Remember boys and girls: It costs to floss. LOL

New exhaust tips are nice, so they attach the same way as the stocks that you show in your pic. Thanks...
